A career-related subject you've enjoyed this term

A good subject of career

After four years of career, I can say that the subject that I liked the most was Economy. This subject that lasted all year, because it was divided into two parts: Economy I and Economy II. It was a really difficult subject, perhaps one of the complicated ones of the entire sociology career.
The subject was taught by three professors, and two of them were not characterized by being good teachers. However, Hugo Fazio was responsible for enjoying the subject. Despite being 90 years old and be grumpy, he was very up to date and knew too much. Going to his classes at 8:30 am, it was no problem. After lessons, the knowledge acquired was very substantive. It was like entering a new world, of which little or nothing I knew.
Broadly speaking, the subject dealt whith the history of economic thought, microeconomics and macroeconomics. However, what I learned most was macroeconomics with Hugo Fazio. This professor is currently characterized as a critic of the political economy of the country, so its purpose in the subject was that we could found a critique of the economy with the language of economics. In this sense, I think that the subject can help me in the future, to have a more understanding of chilean society. A sociological analysis cannot forget the economy, since it is a field that has direct implications on society.
Unfortunately this subject was taken out of the career, and reduced to only one semester with other professors. I think that the career is losing without the original subject, but Hugo Fazio continues teaching in elective subjects. It is a subject that all sociologist should take.
