Santiago through the eyes of social science

Hi.

The exhibitions held in classes were very interesting. They proposed different ways of studying the city of Santiago. Therefore, I going to write some conclusions about the city through the eyes of different disciplines of social sciences.

First, sociology is important to understand that Santiago is a modern city. It is structured, for example, by social classes causing the maginalization. In addition, the city is specialized, causing work to be concentrated in a place in the city.

Second, the structure is the product of social organization. Therefore, it is important to be aware of the consequences in the everyday life. For example, the mental effects of those that can take charge the psychology and the inequality and the poverty of which they take charge the social work.

Third, for all of the above, it is necessary to have a critical stance on the organization of the city.

The exhibitions were a very entertaining activity, goodbye.
